Alan Carnie LL.B. (Hons) Hull, Call 2006 (admitted as a solicitor 1987)

Alan Carnie undertook his training as a solicitor with the highly respected firm of Hetts (formerly Hetts, Stubbs & Kemp).

After qualifying went on to practise firstly with Bridge Mcfarland and then with Symes Baines Broomer. Whilst at Symes Baines Broomer he was made a partner in 2001 before being called to the Bar in 2006.

As a solicitor he practised extensively in Family Law but also dealt with general common law work including a high volume of Employment law.

Since his call to the Bar he has specialised exclusively in Family Law and undertakes all areas of related work including Care proceedings, Domestic Violence, Public and Private Family Law and Ancillary Relief. Alan Carnie accepts instructions on behalf of parents, Guardians and the Local Authorities.
