Wilberforce Barrister successfully completes Run For All Hull 10K
On Sunday 19 June Julia Baggs took part in the annual Run For All Hull 10K road race. The event is now in its seventh year and is a popular feature in the local sporting calendar.
The run is part of the legacy of Jane Tomlinson, who despite being diagnosed with incurable cancer, went on to complete numerous gruelling sporting challenges and raised over £2 million for charity.
With the town centre undergoing some significant improvement works ahead of the UK City of Culture 2017 festivities, there were one or two changes to the usual course.
This year temperatures soared as runners enjoyed the scenic route from the Guildhall towards Victoria Dock, around the Marina via the Deep, through the Old Town and finishing in Queen's Gardens. There was a fantastic atmosphere with plenty of support and encouragement for the runners right along the course.
Julia was running in aid of the Dove House Hospice in Hull and has raised over £200.
