Prior to commencing pupillage Ashley worked as a Litigation Paralegal, managing his own case load of Landlord and Tenant files. Ashley was regularly instructed by local agents and landlords to act on their behalf to recover their properties, often attending the local County Court hearings.
Ashley previously had a career in social housing, working within the Income Recovery and Court teams for Housing Associations in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Manchester. Ashley regularly attended Court on behalf of the Associations for Rent and Anti-Social Behaviour tenancy breaches.
Alongside his career and studies, Ashley has been a Foster Carer since 2012.
Due to his prior experience, Ashley has gained an empathetic approach and has developed extensive experience of dealing with vulnerable members of society and those facing challenges situations.
