We are delighted to announce that Benjamin Rose will be joining chambers on 28th October.
Before joining the bar, Ben has been a Solicitor across the full breadth of dispute resolution practice working both in private practice and in house for FTSE listed PLCs, working as a trusted advisor to both Claimants and Defendants. He began working in the law in 2006 and has had an exclusive dispute resolution practice since this point, aside from the prescribed non litigious training seats. His practice has covered Personal Injury and Disease, general Civil and Commercial Litigation / ADR, including traditional chancery work, and a period working in defence Travel and Tourism Law. Most recently as a freelance advocate Ben has been on his feet almost every day around the north acting for claimants and defendants in a wide range of interim and final hearings.
Ben also sits as a Deputy District Judge on the North Eastern and South Eastern circuits, as well as Central London and the Royal Courts of Justice. Ben was previously a Specialist Disability Qualified Member in the Social Entitlement Chamber of the First Tier Tribunal. In addition to his judicial roles Ben was a lecturer for two Yorkshire universities, teaching real world legal skills and supervising students in legal clinics on the LL.B. and teaching Company Law and Practice, and Insolvency on Masters degree programmes.
