On Friday 15th November our very own “Wilberforce Women” joined in the amazing celebrations at a special Leeds bar mess.
It was a fabulous and very special event for our Chambers and was attended by one of our founding barristers – the irrepressible Miss Lorna Cole! Lorna was a real trail blazer for women qualifying as barristers during and after her own career at the local bar. We have much to celebrate in Chambers, including the fact that approximately half of our barristers are now women.
We are proud to be a supportive and modern set of Chambers for all our members. Thank you to Lorna for showing us the way.
