CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

23 March 2020

In light of the Government’s announcement on the 23rd March 2020 restricting unnecessary travel and personal contact for everyone we have taken the decision to allow our staff to work from home.

We have been preparing for this eventuality and want to assure all of our valued instructing solicitors and clients that you will continue to receive an effective (albeit adapted) service for all remaining listed hearings as we await further developments. Hearings are all to take place remotely for the immediate future. Our barristers are already successfully dealing with hearings in that manner.

There will be some “business as usual” with advices/opinions and other papers being settled as normal and delivered via email.

With effect from Tuesday 24th March 2020 (until further notice) communication with our clerks will continue by email as normal and there are two important new telephone numbers for use in place of Chambers’ usual number as follows:-

All criminal and civil clerking – speak to Phil on 07377 025614

All family clerking – speak to Hayley on 07852 554782

We are confident that our local legal community can work together over the next few weeks to keep us all up and running and to offer a service that we can all continue to be proud of.
