The trial of Seyid Moisawi and Barzan Sadoun has commenced at Hull Crown Court.
The defendants are charged with the murder of Steven Cawthorn and violent disorder on the 26th July 2017.
During a violent confrontation Steven Cawthorn was assaulted and stabbed in the back at Leonard Street, Hull. He later died from his injury.
Dale Brook is led by Alistair MacDonald KC from New Park Court Chambers for the prosecution.
Michael Forrest is led by David Lamb KC from Dere Street Barristers for the defence of Moisawi.
The trial is expected to last between 4-6 weeks.
