On 1st March 2019, Julia Baggs and Rebecca Miller attended the opening ceremony of the new mock trial court room at Hull University.
Lady Hale was the special guest speaker and sat as a judge in the Court of Appeal in a traditional mooting competition between two of the members of the university barrister society. Lady Hale then gave an inspirational talk to the students about her career in the law.
