Owzat!

14 August 2017

A lovely day was had by all at Chambers’ annual outing to the cricket on Saturday 5th August to watch the 2nd day of the 4th Test between England and South Africa at Old Trafford. Wilberforce Chambers was pleased to host local solicitors from both the North and the South Bank at what turned out to be a crucial day in the Test.

England notched up a 1st innings total of 362 thanks in no small part to the sterling work of Jonny Bairstow who was unfortunate to miss out on a century by one run, meanwhile Messrs Anderson and Moeen between them made short work of the South African squad with 9 wickets taken by the end of the day’s play. Beer snakes, Picnics  and Pimms – good times in good company. And the Cricket wasn’t bad either!
