Wilberforce Barristers is the largest Barristers Chambers in the Humberside region, comprising of 34 junior tenants, 4 silk door tenants and 3 pupil barristers.
We are looking to employ a permanent Junior Fees Clerk/Finance Assistant. Successful applicants will assist the Senior Fees Clerk in billing counsel’s fees including criminal law cases (graduated fee) and family law case (FAS and VHCC). Experience of the relevant fee schemes (AGFS, VHCC, FAS, etc) is preferred but not essential as the successful applicant will be provided with on-the-job training.
In addition, the successful applicant will be required to assist our Finance Clerk in the management of Chambers’ financial administration. Experience in financial administration is preferred but again not essential as the requisite training will be given.
